We didn’t make Shark Tank, but we never give up. And we need your help to win the Whole Foods Redwood City Small Producer Grant #MadeLocally.

At the end of February, Whole Foods told me that A Loving Spoon nut butter should apply for their Small Business Grant. In a heartbeat, I did.

There are many things and places I’d love to see my nut butters, but as a food entrepreneur in the natural space, getting into Whole Foods is, basically, a dream.

I submitted all of the business information, our story and our mission with giving back 10c per each jar purchased to the Love+ 1 Food Project – Haiti, current flavors, how I’d use the grant money and a few other things.

A couple weeks ago I got the email that A Loving Spoon was chosen to be a finalist for the grant in the Redwood City, CA Whole Foods Store.
